After college, you leave many resources around career prep and professional development behind. It’s hard enough to know how to find your first job, let alone figure out what you want to do next.

When looking to leave consulting, we lacked resources to help us make transitions early in our careers. Like many, we turned to mentors to figure out how to land our next thing.

Together, we realized there was no comprehensive resource focused on helping professionals with early career transitions. After helping each other, we have helped numerous peers with their first to next job transitions. We specifically focus on helping coachees understand what matters to them in their job, identify opportunities outside their industry, write a professional resume and cover letter, ace the interview, and negotiate their offer and salary.

The Next Thing was born out of that realization. We are the first comprehensive coaching service focused on early career transitions.
